שוקוטרייד-Chocotrade

Our company began in 1933 when Granny Barth first started making
marzipan in her kitchen. Since then some things have changed: today we
have our own 40,000 sq. foot factory outside Tel Aviv, and we now
manufacture and export a range of paper-thin oven-baked crackers
as well as coated and uncoated citrus peel products and marzipan.

In 1970, our sister company, Chocotrade, started importing
confectionary, and is today one of the largest importers of
chocolates, candy and baked goods in Israel. Both Barth and
Chocotrade are family-owned, and the 3rd generation who manage both
companies remain committed to the same high standards of service and
quality we started with, over seventy years ago...

We are the sole agents in Israel for over twelve companies, including:
Swizzels-Matlow (England), Ricola (Switzerland), Eichelmann/Eichetti (Germany), Cavendish & Harvey (Germany), Storz (Germany), Laica (Italy), Cemoi-Jacquot (France), Ion (Greece), Evropa (Macedonia), Tasty Choco (China), Maohuat (China), Jia-Tai (China), Zed Candy (China) etc.

Our sales network operates a national distribution network of:

1. Wholesalers in each major city (between 2 - 15, depending on size
of city). Our sales representatives visit these wholesalers weekly.
Goods ordered are then delivered by our trucks within 48 hours.

2. our own salespeople visit every branch of every chain store
throughout the country (over 450 outlets), delivering goods by
van-sale. We are authorized suppliers to all chain stores since we are
not only importers but also local manufacturers and supply both local
and imported goods.

3. Our own fleet of vans sell from shop to shop by van-sale method,
mainly in the center of Israel.

4. A number of distributors in the Palestinian sector, who deliver to
the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
